Where Was I

Folder:
Remembering 9/11

Where was I when the world stopped turning

On that September day,

Watching the attacks with my neighbors on TV,

And we started to pray.

How much hate does it take to make one do

Something like this.

Killing so many from all over the world, loved ones

That will be sorely missed.

What kind of coward would do such a dastardly

Deed.

What kind of person, would admit that

They had taken the lead.

Why, is the question, so many have

Asked.

Someday these animals will be brought to task.

Alan Jackson captured the moment that breaks

Our hearts,

But this catalyst has united us with a resolve that

Will not be torn apart.

We are coming for you Osama Bin Laden,

You and all your kind,

And on your carcasses the buzzards shall dine.

That September day will be forever emblazoned in

Our souls,

With a fire that will not be quenched but will

Glow like hot coals.

Run, hide, dig yourself a cave

We are coming for you, you cowardly knave.

There will be no mercy asked and none will we give,

You will be forever hunted as long as you live.

Enjoy your life as it may be,

You and your kind will never put out the fire

Of those longing to be free.
