Thanksgiving Prayer 2003

Lord, we are gathered here

With those we hold dear,

To give thanks and praise

For the bounty given us this day.

These blessings we recognize

are a feast for the eyes,

Thank you lord for all we see,

We ask for comfort

for the less fortunate please.

Let us join together for this repast

And pray that it not be our last.

May we come together here

To praise God and give thanks

this time next year.

Bless this food to our bodies,

and forgive us our toddies.

Keep us safe as we go home,

and from the flock, far, not to roam.

Hold us close in your grace

and bestow neverending love on this place.

Restore those who are missing and dry our tear.

Know only that love is spoken here.

Amen
