His eyes fixated on the wonders of the world, everything still so brand new, and everything seemingly begging for his attention.


I gripped his shirt like a mad man grips his favorite pistol, and lovingly nudged him for his attention. Suddenly, his eyes were fixed upon my spirit.


I finally had his attention. I said, "My boy, don't ever be like me, be better than me".
