Tragic and weary as I recall
the misfortunate spoils of war
Women, children, babies dead
tears rolling down on soldiers'head
races,blood,country, power
the last of the days and the hour
do we ever see who wins?
do we ever feel victory?
when we see sufferring, death and misery?
why do we quest for whoever's the best
when we all know we just need to be listened to
we are all equal in the eyes of the CREATOR
who has the right to take back our lives and conquer
In my little shelter I ask and pray
that all will find peace and equality someday
for my children and yours' sake
claim back our youth's dream they take
