Hell's Priest

From fog covered boats we come

tall, silent, and dressed in black

my guards are clad in armor

shining weapons upon their back

over the hills and through the trees

toward the peaceful village we swarm

we raid in the dead of night

pillaging all within our sight

death to the men

death to the children

spare only the virgin women

hold them here against their will

their screams are heard clear and shrill

into the village my men and i do stroll

seeking young women that bear the white robe

into town square my men come marching

encircling the young women, my lord is watching

the girls stand there crying while their families lay dying

burn the village, burn the fields

set up our sacred ring

line them up and tie them down

i shall be rewarded in the end

bind their arms, bind their legs

gag their mouths, bag their heads

prepare the fire, prepare the wine

bring forth the dagger made of spine

slit the girls' wrists

and collect the blood

in the chalice of power

stoke the fire

cast the spell

summon the master

from the depths of hell

pass the cup

and drink the blood

tear their flesh, cut out their hearts

lay them on the altar

the master sights and says to me

"you've done my bidding

you brought me back

these virgin sacrifices

will finish my crossing."

he takes the hearts and as he devours them

he changes from a spirit in the flames

to a full formed being

and taking a breath, unleashes a stream of fire

destroying the bodies and scorching my robes of blackest night

the master then says

"you have served me well

here is your reward."

and with a flaming breath

he burns my robe and my flest from my body

transforming me into an eternal being

"now you shall forever be my servant,

as my high priest of hell.

prepare to sacrifice the souls of the innocent.

now go and collect my virgin hearts!"

and so we go

town to town, land to land

raping, pillaging, burning as we go

stealing the hearts of the innocent

to sacrifice to our dark new king
