She entered into a mysterious world,.
Led by something she didn’t know.
Yet she followed faithfully.
Knowing not what she might see.
A dreamlike world full of fantasy.
With characters who shared with glee.
Some were talented acrobats.
Who dance atop the baled hay stacks.
She loved to watch their performances.
Delightfully she joins their dance.
They shine like stars when the day grows dark.
Then she hears their snickery snark.
Giggles echo throughout the land.
And she gets drunk with all of them.
Oh what fun this world sure is.
She hopes to stay within the bliss.
Some of the time the world is filled with darkness.
When this happens she gets confused.
She seeks the ones who once were happy.
But finds them to be deeply depressing.
She wonders how she can help to heal.
She has to find a way to reveal.
Her hidden demons start to grow.
They don’t want her light to show.
She fights to maintain her balance.
As she starts to fall into a trance.
She tries to catch a lover’s glance.
But gets confused by circumstance.
Fantasy world takes her from real life.
Causing quite a bit of strife.
Yet she still can’t stay away.
Within this world she gets to create.
And oh what fun it is to play.
She wants to do it night and day.
Finding ways to communicate.
Stories of some strange new fate.
Where she’ll end up she doesn’t know.
But when she’s here her heart does glow.
So she enters into the unknown.
Trying to discover the truth of this world.
