She was walking along a strange path,
with lots of twists and turns.
She began to get lost and found herself
in a forest full of words.

It seemed to be a labyrinth.
She couldn't find her way through.
Following the path before her,
rendered her quite confused.

After a while
she began to get wary
and sat on a rock
beside a quarry.

Next to her,
she noticed some mushrooms.
White polka dotted
with red that surrounded.

Her tummy was growling,
so she took a bite.
After a while,
she didn't feel quite right.

She got kind of sick
and had to lay down.
Falling a sleep her
dreams became wild.

When she awoke
the path looked different.
Something wonderful
had certainly happened.

The words in the forest
had become trees.
They spoke to her
and said, "follow me."

Strangely the trees
now walked beside her.
They smiled and laughed.
Which filled her with wonder.

They told her stories
as they moved along.
Then they started to
break into song.

She found her self
singing along.
Even though she didn't
Know that song.

The animals
that came around
Didn't speak
with their usual sounds.

She understood
every word they said.
As if they spoke
the same language.

Thinking this place
was a wonderful treat.
She wanted to stay
and play with the trees.

They reached the edge
of the twisted path.
And everything
started to turn back.

To a labyrinth
in a forest world.
All of the life had
turned back to words.
