have you ever listened
to the wind when it howls
sounds like voices of lost souls
wandering around just looking
for where they belong
are they trying to talk with us
is that why the wind sounds that way
or is it just my own mind
hearing things not there
the next time you hear that sound
listen to it very closely
do you hear what I hear
or is it just me and my own mind
BEAUTIFUL POEM :*).
A very good description of a howling wind.I love that sound. You make me hear it in your words...That yearning, searching sound.
Smile.. it is the cheapest facelift.
O yes Renee'! I have heard your haunting poem echoing the wind ... the wind is F R E E and so is our pain: it coils a life so carefully and ... we may let it BE you may try to catch the wind or attempt to touch your pain but release your loneliness and begin to soar again I love drifting off on the sound of the wind ... swirling swiftly to the loft of deliverance and dreams thank you for taking me to this unknown destiny I discovered once again it is sited inside me Myra
