I use to think I'd never find

a truly loving man nor one so kind.

The Great Spirit dropped you in my lap it seems

and I've found the man, the man of my dreams.



We met, talked hit off from the start...

To you my loving man I pledge my heart.

I love that we have such an easy way.

I love coming home to you at the end of the day.



We love to laugh, talk, play and tease.

You are the only one I care to please.

You give such great huggies so I can sleep.

You are there to hold me when fear makes me weep.



Being apart from you is the thing I hate most.

The way you love me is something about which I boast.

I've suffered through bad relationships not knowing why.

I understand now it was so I would except this loving guy.



So thank you dear for the man you are.

Know in my heart you are my only star.

Every moment you show me nothing but love.

I know now you are a gift from above.
