vision in his heart

he fell in love with a vision and a dream

such a vision and a beauty or so she seemed

he gave her his heart and his soul

then the vision faded and he let go

slowly he slipped away from her heart

pulling away, growing so very far apart

she isnt the woman he gave his soul to

shes not that beauty and she just wont do

dont he see shes still the same in her soul

with a heart as pure as the drivin snow

dont he know she could love him as no other before

no, he has already shut his hearts door

shes sorry shes not to who he gave his heart

regrets the lies and the mistakes from the start

but she loves him, and if she must will let go

to let him find another vision to give his soul

Excellent analysis and understanding of a man within the verse which was well constructed. The emotion and acceptance of the woman was beautifully conveyed. Enjoyed this one very much :)
