poem_044_The_VideoII

Driving me insane as I lie in my room.

Heavily I start to think of my life.

Darkness of the night begins to consume.

All while I lie here staring at a knife.

Positive thoughts slowly drain from all existence.

Negativity makes my mind it’s miserable base.

Everything I once lived for is now in the distance.

All this depression because I can’t forget your face.

Can’t forget all the pleasure you brought and all the pain.

Can’t forget the happiness you created then crushed.

One slice is all it takes right down the jugular vein.

After all this the screams and voices will be hushed.

I won’t be here for you to ignore.

I won’t hear my family fight.

I won’t hear you say “no” anymore.

With a simple cut I can make things right.

Here we go I hope you watch close.

This could have all been stopped by you.

This is actually funny, bet you think that’s morose.

Now watch the blood flow as we say adieu.

Once clean slice across the jugular vein it took.

Blood gushing as she held her hand over the gash.

The more time passed the more she shook.

And the more blood would spill and splash.

Her eyes went lifeless

The sounds soon stopped.

Now she’s no longer in distress,

And her body finally dropped.

The young boy sat staring.

He couldn’t believe what he saw.

He looked at the clothes he was wearing.

And quickly he stepped back in withdraw.

His clothes were bloody, as was the knife in his hand.

“No she cut her own neck and asked to die!”

He fell to the floor; he didn’t understand.

He convinced himself he wasn’t a killer guy.

The police were not so sure.

They took him to their station.

He broke down unable to endure.

They found the video and watched the mutilation.
