Dear Gary the best friend I have,



You know for thirteen years we’ve been the best of friends,

Only recently you have shown we could possibly be more.

When I move in with you I hope our relationship transcends,

And the depths of our relationship we can explore.

I am hoping for a fresh new start to better our lives

In this ‘expedition’ I’m making to be with you.

Patiently I wait for when this day arrives,

Where we’ll be together living life through.



        You’ve been through hard times as well as I,

And together we can overcome our difficulties.

We’ve been here for each other through low times and hi.

And if some of them are with foes we’ll make appease.

I’m here for you and I hope you are here for me.

That’s really what I want you to know you’re my redeemer.

I want you to hear me through this poetic decree!

Babe, without you in my life I’m just another dreamer.

I just look into your eyes and I melt.

You are such a breathe taking sweet talker.

For the longest time fate has just been crappy in my dealt.

And I feel our relationship can move like a Tennessee walker.



        I want to be yours and only yours and to live our lives together.

I just wish I truly knew if this is what you want too.

I know this is what I want and what would make me happy forever,

But I need to know if this is what you’d like to do.

You gave me this ring and said “I was your only girlfriend”.

I look at this ring and think further ahead in our life.

If I’m to be your only girl then sooner or later we should make it extend,

And be with each other “Till death do us part” and end our strife.



I just want to know if you feel this way too.

Even if you need time to think it through.
