Have You?
Have you ever felt pain so bad, that you went numb to everything else? Have you ever suffered loss so extreme, that your heart turned stone cold? Have you ever had your heart crushed so badly, that you shut down emotionally to everyone. Have you ever been so lost, that the void in your life feels like it will never be filled? Are you so broken, that you can’t smile without feeling guilty? Are your thoughts so clouded, that you can’t see the good things you have in your life? Is your body so scarred that you can’t wear a shirt without long sleeves? Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night crying out for your father, but realize that no one is there, and you’re alone in the world.
I really like this poem. I say yes to all those questions. Its deep and I like it. Nice work. Im sorry if this poem is how you are feeling i know that feeling and it isnt fun. But nice poem.
