We light candles
to hide from our dark.
But wicks will fray,
cinders dissolve, fade.
Instead
learn to decipher comfort
from the mysteries of the night.
Massage the crevices
of Obscurity's folds.
Ferret out miseries, pathos.
For in this lightless expanse
even blemishes can frolic freely.
Impurities naked,
teeming with
being.
Break in the demons
that they may dance with
impunity.
Stomps like hearts
In unity beating.
Howls entwining the dusk,
sating the void
with truth that can free us.
Take my hand
and let's shout 'til we're deaf, friend.
It's easy to scream
When no one can see us.
A beautiful string of words,
A beautiful string of words, and I absolutely love the flow of it. Through and through, your words feed energy to the reader. Certainly to this one. Pristine.
