Cold is what I’m feeling

after this dreaded night

She never tried to withstand

the oh so staggering fight

What am I to do with the cold body

Lying face down

I havent even attempted to look

at the mangled face

I do not kno what came over me

but i need to get out of this place

as i stand here in handcuffs

policeman at my sides

I look up into the sky

and tell god i apologize
