Look at what we have become

Inside so broken and numb

Once we were lovers, now we are strangers

This is when we find we are in danger



Back then we clicked and everything was right

Once it seemed that time was on our side

But seasons come and quickly go

and feelings change from what we know



We were so close, we almost had it all

We thought what we had would never break or fall

But now we have lost our dreams of forever

You would be surprised to find that now we will never be together



Why cant we just start over

It is not that hard, just like turning over the four-leaf clover

Can't we pick up the broken pieces of our love and fix what we had

I don’t want to learn to live without you, I don’t want to hurt that bad



On my knees, I am begging you to change your mind

No one will ever love you like me, my love is one of a kind

Didn’t you care about me, didn’t you at least try

I wish you would rethink this all, because without you I would die



We have become strangers

These old paths we continue to roam

We have put ourselves in danger

Destined to always be broken and alone
