Ran forward,
They were hit.
It happened, quite fast.
A brief thump of pain.
And all that it showed.....were
Little black holes.
With puckered, blue rings.
On a clammy, grey background.
Sometimes .....
it's, what death, looked like.
Just full of surprise,
Once they'd
Died.
