I, too, have run so many

I, too, have run so many circles in my life that I can certainly empathize with Columbus' sailors when they ended up back where they started from.  After reading your poem, I was surprised to learn that Plato had taught that the earth is spherical.  I had never heard that, about Plato, before today.

And he was sure ahead of me

And he was sure ahead of me in 1974.  And he still is.  And, of course, every time I read him, the image of Lynn's beauty playfully interrupts my concentration.
