            & passion denied

      the flittering stars

                 flash purple light

        and indigo fancy

the stream of pure thought

                 and afterglow

         of semantics

             and special games

         foolish fool

the boy of dreams and poetry

             chopped down

by the insanity of fraudulence

       and whispering hucksters

in an Atlantic City casino

      stammering numbers
and no light

       ever drawn

           anyhow
