holding your memory

my lips tremble

when i think of you

so far away

i miss your little folds

and subtle curves

the hair on your legs

and your kiss

i miss the flatness

of your tongue

and the pleasure

you get in our

embrace

i guess defining

how beautiful

i find you

means nothing

when you are so

far away

The poem at first seemed simple and straightforward, but I found myself reading it again and again...it is very thought-provoking and stirs emotions deep inside. We are but memories of love...some good, some sad. And I guess, we should define our thoughts when that special person is still close and not "so far away". Lovely poem.

Kind regards
Nicolette
