Watching the U.S. softball team

 dispatch the Canadian team 6-1

I’m noticing

that softball players pat

each other on the backside

as often 

as baseball players do.

And I never noticed this 

watching baseball

but the uniforms

do make butts look nicer.

I have to admit

I found it less distressing

than watching 

snuff spitting dudes doing it.

It may make me shallow

but I suppose 

it also reveals my humanity.
