So close yet so far away

I want to hold you close

So close i feel your warm breath

Upon my neck

And feel your heart

Beat close to mine



When our eyes meet

I feel my heart melt

Over and Over

Longing to be with you

But right now

This cannot be true



For you

I would drop everything

Just to comfort you

I would stop time

If i could

To stand still with you

And look into those eyes again



You grant me

With an eternal smile

Which no matter

How hard i try

I cannot seem to wipe away

Nothing compares

To the way you make me feel

No one compares to You
