you tell me I am beautiful

those are words I never hear

you tell me I am sexy

I have never heard those words before

you say "I love you"

I never hear those words spoken to me



until now

the words have rot and fell to the ground

no one ever told me I was special before

no one ever made life worth living for

all of those words I've needed to hear

have been unspoken never reached my ear



it was so strange to hear you say you loved me

it was so odd to have you smile at my face that you see

it was so unusual to have someone pay so much attention to me

it was so weird to have someone who accepted what I choose to be

I've never known anything like this ever before

and it may be selfish but I keep wanting more



I've never had this but I have always wanted it

I've always dreamed about it I've always needed it

but I never thought I was ever going to get it

but now that I have it I will never ever forget it

with everything we say and with everything we do

with all you are and all I am with all my heart I love you
