My lips don’t smile

my eyes don’t shine

my body doesn’t soar

as they used to

today as in all my days of late

brought on by

loneliness

my bright thoughts

of past seem

gone away

they shone as jewels

but no more

I was feeling very sad when I wrote this, but I think that it was a good piece of imagination, so I'll post it anyway. Posted:5/19/05

wish I could even begin to comment on this the way I want to. But, it would take about 30 pages and quite a bit of ink. For now I will have to say that it's incredible and I'm glad I stumbled on your works to begin with. Great write.
