It makes you feel giggly near your best friend.



It makes you jealous

             angry

             sad

             happy

             weepy

             overjoyed

             giddy



and once you've felt it,



and once it's gone,



there's a void in your very soul,



a gap you can not fill.



not without more.



it's like a life drug.



and it drives me nuts because,



I don't know what it is.



not really.



all I know are the symptoms,



the wonderful illness,



like a fever,



is a mystery to me.
