These tears

have started streaming down my face as I look in to the light.

because I'm here

I'm here waiting for my white knight.

I wish you were here,

so that we could finally start our life.



As I wait by the window,

staring out into the light of nowhere.

How can you really know

how it really feels when you're not there?

I have to go,

but I just want you to know I still care.

As I wait here by the window.



My fears

have started boiling to the surface as I see in to the night.

Cause you're not here

you're not here to share with me my life.

I wish I was there,

so the pain would stop and I could turn back time.



As I wait here by the window,

staring out into this light of tears,

and do you really know

how it really hurts that I'm not there?

I wanted to go,

but I thought that you wanted to be here.

I pray you know

that even through the pain, I still care.

Through the years

I have watched you grow in to who you are,

and I'm still here

I'm here because I gave for you my life.

I know you hear

me knocking on the door each and every night.



As I wait by the window,

staring out into the light of heaven.

Soon you will really know

how it feels when you're with me here.

I'll never go,

I just want you to know that I'm always there.
