Hello to the world, what will you do today?

Try to kill me or cause me turmoil?

Humiliate me or make my anger boil?

You can try all you want,

but you won't get me today

because no matter what you do

I'll fly anyway...



God will lift me up and place his arms around me

taking the pain, and making me blind so I can see.

There's nothing you can do to hurt me today

I see the angels all around

this filthy, beat up, hillbilly town,

and I think to myself, I have to get out.

Only God can save me now.



I have to leave this place in so many ways

It's too hard too see it take this soul of mine away.
