On his way to work Jimmy thought to himself
about the fight he had with his wife the night before.
It was over something stupid, a picture on the shelf
he thought to himself, their lives were worth so much more.
Just as he looked up a car pulled in front of him.
He only avoided it by slamming the brakes to the floor,
and he thought to himself...
What if tommorrow never comes, and I never see her again.
What would she have done if I had died just then?
It'll take a miracle to save this relationship now,
but we have to find a way somehow...

She sat there in their bed, her face soaked with tears.
They'd been together so long, in love for so many years.
She didn't want to be the reason their love was gone,
but after last night she decided she would move on.
Then she tripped over a book, and almost fell down the stairs,
and as she looked down at it she thought "What if he still cares?"
What if tommorrow never comes, and I never see him again.
What would he have done if I had died just then?

He did a U turn where he was
(instead of laying there she got back up)
he pulled up to his house
(she thought "what do I do now?")
he sprang through the door as she got up off the floor,
and ran to her showing the love was still there
(she thought "He really does care.")
Then he held her in his arms while they cried...
