I remember a time when

there were certain things we didn't say,

and no matter what the time was

we would always do everything our own way.



The time came when we had to go

away to a place that only we know

with no one else because they couldn't be

bothered to play with you and me...



Back in the day when nothing else mattered,

but what time supper came.

Way back when everybody knew who we were

just as soon as someone yelled our name.

Back in the day...



Remember that time when I got in a fight,

and his mama said she'd kill me that night.

I remember you got up in her face,

and said you ain't hurting my brother, uh uh, no way.

Man that was back in the day.



Back in the day when home sweet home

was only a tape away.

Way back when everyone knew our names,

but we didn't care.

We wouldn't play their games.

Back in time when we were young again

and we were there for each other,

no matter what, where , or when.

Walkin around the square 32 times

Man back in the day, that was our lives!



Now here we are today wondering when

we'll rule this world together again.

Brothers in blood, or better yet mayhem

whichever it is, I'll be there til the end!



But now in this day I'm Livin' on a Prayer.

Not so quick to jump, just on a dare.

Bon Jovi or KISS, it doesn't matter who's great

as long as we remember to love, and forget to hate.

I follow the Lord now, but it's not too late.

I'll wait with him for you as long as it takes.

Just you remember he was hung on that cross,

and we were the ones who killed him.

We didn't realize our loss.

I'll always be here for you dude.

when it was me and you.
