Beautiful Pieces

Show me your Beautiful Pieces,

the ugly parts you prefer to hide,

your ruptured scars and wrinkled creases,

the doubts you bear and dare not confide.

Show me your Broken Pieces,

your past regrets and unlived dreams,

your aching hurts which time releases

through healing tears poured forth in streams.

Show me your Missing Pieces,

I carry Missing Pieces too,

mismatched jigsaws whose number increases,

and I will put them back together with you.

I can add nothing to what

I can add nothing to what Patricia has already written in her comment . . . except to say, enthusiastically, that I agree with all of the comment about this excellent and profoundly beautiful poem.

Starward

Ageless and unshakable

Ageless and unshakable devotion crystallized in the most elegant form.

The musicality of each billowing, heart-clutching line is absolutely spellbinding, while the theme of unconditional love—a love that not only accepts what the world calls flaws, but adores them as well—is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth. I could hear, as well as feel, its ascending Truth surround me.

What a gift to your loved one! Superb.
