should the man who journeyed west
brave the voyage toward the east
leave behind him all the rest
whose traveling had ceased
or is it better that he stay
to build on what he founded
mark the calendar away
forsake the world unbounded
never had it e'er occured
to walk the road due north
sever ties which once had stirred
and leave them all henceforth
yet for every parallel
every cardinal direction
was a home in which to dwell
awaiting his selection
passerbys and passerthroughs
strangers, though prospective friends
if it happened he should choose
their town to meet his ends
there and by, by and there
for one so great he felt so small
if he could not live everywhere
he'd rather not live at all
Sounds like me right
Sounds like me right now...but I headed north. Also reminds me of my elder friend who just had to give up his bus life due to health issues.
