Dad

They may be able to lay to rest the man I love,
But the dirt can’t cover these precious memories.
And I may question the one God above,
But I know His blessings are disguised as mysteries.
Although I’ll always recall that cold day in December,
It’s the warmth your life brought me I promise I’ll never forget to remember.
And though this goodbye may not come easily,
I’ll see you again, Dad. Rest peacefully.
I love you.

shows honesty and a good "rhythm of words" (does that make sense?)

Last two lines are good... to me, "I'll see you again, Dad. Rest peacefully" feels like the ending. What you say afterwords feels like a "p.s." which makes it more significant, convincing, and memorable. Good job on that.

How are you and your family faring?
