Cry

As I was gazing the sullen night,
Happiness from my face is out of sight.
Deep emotion as cold as ice,
Tears slowly overflowed from my eyes.

The stars and the moon stared at me,
As if sharing some light of sympathy.
Watching each drop of crystal while I cry
Silhouetted against the midnight sky.

Deep into the midst of darkness I hide,
While the fog of comfort and pain collide.

Author's Notes/Comments:

At times when I am suffering from sorrow or deep loneliness, I can fully express my emotions through poems and songs. This is one of the poems I have composed that deals with sadness.
