You left me in such a hurry,
As if I had become a worry,
That you could no longer cope with.
The stormy wind was shaking the panes,
As your words added to the pains,
Striking and slashing like a scythe.
Darkness grew dense as I heard you,
Telling me 'Listen to me Navvu'*
'Money matters - love is a myth'.
The children were sleeping like the bird,
Nothing by anybody else was heard,
As I stumbled into an unseen ditch.
And so you have left without caring,
How I and our kids would be faring,
How the coin of ties does quickly flip!
Watching the aircraft on the western horizon,
Departing with you like a season,
My clouded eyes wept for a myth!
I've so many private questions. When we next communicate remind me of this! and direct me to this poem. Amazingly beautiful and so well constructed. Must have been hurting like hell when you wrote it! you know who........so why type it!
