LET ME UNWIND

No day dawns but to increase my sadness,

I am drawing near to the edge of nothingness;

No sun sets without leaving me lonely,

Even though there are many around; many.

Fluttering the birds fly back to their nests,

The insects crawl on the flap of old texts,

The clamour and rush on the streets of the city,

Reminds me that I too am needy.

I am in need of complete peace of mind,

Let me O my love, in your arms, unwind.

as the brave day doth fall
into the arms of
'The Saturating Night'
there love sits for thee
waiting tight
hardly stressed by the
hum drum of the afternoon's tripe
as the beloved counts more
than any policy of governed rule
or reveler's plight
there indeed
thee is welcomed gladly
into the open arms of
love's tenderest respite
so fret no more
as this Eve be kind
for tomorrow's dawn
is far from this darkened
haven's door
and there thee shall unwind
willingly in reverent rapport
on the pale soft embrace
of love's ageless light.........
(you know who!.....so why type it?)
