IN LOVING MEMORY
OF JAMIE ABRAHAM
I really don't know how to put this in words
It's hard to say goodbye to a special Friend
Jamie was a girl that was always happy she loved to sing and dance
And if you were feeling down she would brighten up your day
Even when hers wasn't going well
Friends all around sit shocked crying in tears
A 16-year-old girl who just turned 17 and had her life stripped from her
What more can I say
Jamie will always be in our hearts
We will never forget the good times we had with her
Because her smile always brighten up our day
Now things will never be the same without that happy girl who was our friend
Jamie you may be gone
But you will always be in our hearts
From all your friends here at Liberty High School
Class of 2003 2004 2005 2006 and so on
We will carry your memory forever
Good bye you will be missed

In memory
Hey Elliot,
I've read quite of few of your poems, and this one really stuck out in my memory. I've lost three people in my life, and one girl, Katie, was killed shortly after her birthday, by her boyfriend as well. No one could prove exactly what happened, becuz the boy wrecked the car afterwards, but everyone knows what really happened. Reading this poem, I am reminded mainly of Katie, becuz she too was always smiling and laughting, and had such a beautiful spirit, but also I am reminded of the other two girls I've lost.
I love the way you write...Never stop...You have a rare gift.
~Always,
Nikki
