Why do I always have to concede
That everything is as it seems?
If the soul is seen through a person's eyes
Then please
Look in mine
I know brown can be murky
But if the light is on
You can navigate just fine
And your soul will arrive
Without a scratch
And don't leave right away
Even if the accommodations
Aren't what you expected
The hotel that once stood tall
And regal
Is now dilapidated
Maybe you can restore it
To its former glory
Leave it shiny and luxurious
So even if you don't end up
Establishing residence
Someone else will
I really, really like this poem
all your work is filled with the nomadic traveler, whom seems to be entrenched in a world without anyone there to share your artistry. Your creativity enlightens such interesting exchanges about appearance, personality, the exploited physique and the non-refundable life, we have only our own soul, a camera may capture the human figure, but only our essence offers a glimpse into our soul. You write in the that way, what I like to call "essential poetry," you find the essence and then you write to reach the readers soul.
Peace
