Rape.
"Listen to me, Dont be afraid,
Im not going to hurt you,
Dont run away."
This is what they all say, while
trapping you in a door way.
They slide up close to you,
invading your personal space.
Your wishing they'll just go away,
but there is no such luck today.
They smile and tell you to hush,
to stop crying so load,
to softon your sounds, as they push
your body against the wall, you try
to slap them in the face, they grap your
wrist, and say " Dont Fight".
You try to open the door,
"Oh no its locked".
They slip a hand over you, you hear
them groan.
They wisper in your ear,
"No No, dont fight this my dear".
" Oh ill be your greatest fear".
He holds you down, and takes what he claims,
then as you cry out in pain, he ignores your begs.
He keeps your number in his phone, so he can call
and see if your at home.
He then takes his leave, and you drop down to your knees,
and lay crying on the ground.
No simpathy.

wow blew me away tears well done but to make it through and go on in life after things like that happens make you better and u over came God bless your heart i like this one. perfect

Thanks. Im glad you think so. like i said in the comment box, i wasnt raped, but i know people that have been, and iv helped them deal with the after math, so i kinda know how they felt, and iv gone through things like it. So its what helped me write this poem. Thanks again.

This poem is quality, elfy... surely one that needs to be written and needs to be read, and one of the most meaningful I've read so far on this site... I can't think of the right words about such a hurtful thing as this, but it touches me... praying for people this has been done to, for their healed hearts and renewed life.

This really got through to me. I felt this terrible adrenaline rush than i just wanted to cry. I really felt for the girl in this poem. I really did.

Thank you. It means alot that somebody hears and understands where im coming from when i write. It is sad, and a painfull thing to carry with you. Not to mention to hear, or read about. I felt it was something that needed to be said though.

It's beautiful, the poem of
It's beautiful, the poem of course not the subject. Course elfy knows this already, Yes events like this are tragic and unfortuniately far to easy of a reminder of close we are to our savage nature than we give credit. I too have known friends that were abused and taken advantage of, it's not easy to comfort them at times given the nature of such attacks their comfort zone usually being alone.. I can also say personally having been in a relationship with a victim of such nature you can see the lingering damage it has done to them, but in their own right made them stronger and that much unique in their personality....
I must say Elfy this was an amazing piece of work, and would sugest you try and get it published in a magazine of some sort, this could help so many people who have been hurt.

Its something that i feel
Its something that i feel could really open peoples eyes ya no? It does happen, you cant hide from it. Its a scary thing, even to imagine. Im sorry if it didnt, wasnt going for the effect of scaring people, but just showing them, whats its like in another persons shoes. Plus i belive, a poem is ment to be detailed, it shows the true effect. Thanks so much for reading :)
