that is bursting from my heart.
I am thirsty for you, but you are not attuned to
the melody played from your heart.
I have told you that I love you,
but you cannot comprehend.
You deny me, I fly by you,
you brush me off, as you pretend.
Can't you see that without you,
my life is empty, as is the glass?
The feelings I've held inside me for so long,
have endured, have never passed.
Why must you be such a strong willed man?
Oh, why won't be the man for me?
You've taken over the essence of my deepest thoughts,
you've transformed to my poetic dream.
The chords you play upon my heart
compose a symphony that only angels sing.
It is the saddest song, it is the joyous song,
it is the song I could never complete.
Can't you see that without you,
my life is empty, as is the glass?
