I don't know why i bother

they say i don't have a chance

at a one night stand romance

but i swear shes the girl of my dreams

and tonight im gonna prove it to her

that im not the loser that she thinks.





I'll do whatever it will take

to prove i can be her man

I'll join a punk rock band

and write songs all about her

i'll pierce my nose and ears

and tattoo her name on my ass

theres only one thing that i ask

everyday i see her walking by

she doesn't even know im alive

there must be something i can do

to prove im in love with a girl like you
