The more I feel the urge to appreciate this present

The more accolades I give to myself, now

The more I see my progress.

The girl I used to be, didn't know anything about where she went wrong

The woman I have become, wants to own all her flaws

The girl I used to be, didn't know how to bow out gracefully

The woman I have become doesn't have anything to prove to anyone

The girl I used to be was full of philosophical perspectives without experience

The woman I have become over-stands how to formulate those philosophies

The girl I used to be wasn't sure of herself, or anything for that matter

The woman I have become still has doubts, but dwells less

The girl I used to be took all those mistakes and victories

She grew into this woman I have become

Naturally, Organically, Authentically

and I'm not done yet.

The more I reflect on the moments that have passed me by

The more I feel the urge to appreciate my path

The more I give credit to the mistakes and embrace their necessity

The more I find acceptance in the NOW
