Here you are standing,

On the shoulder of the road,

You won't go very far in life,

Unless you break it's code,

You had so many choices,

Friends and family, too,

But you listened to those voices,

Now you don't know what to do,

Why won't you,

Wake up and smell the roses,

Don't you see what's going on?

This is the life you chose,

It's not a game to be won.



You know we all make mistakes,

It's part of being alive,

There were so many roads to take,

And somewhere along you lost that drive,

Maybe it was the fear,

Discarded like a stone,
