I grabbed a cup of cocao,

And I picked up my guitar,

Now I'm writing this song,

As I sit thinking of you,

Tears falling on the page,

Because I know we're through.



I'm afraid to go to sleep,

My dreams will be filled with you,

I need this to all be over,

I don't want to believe that you're gone,

So I sit here alone in the dark,

I'm waiting for the breaking dawn,

I wish I knew what to think,

Now my happiness has shattered,

I feel like my life is falling apart,

I'm trying to pick up all the pieces,
