And you're down on bended knees,

When empty dreams have left you shattered,

And you've been hurt beyond degree,

You can run to me.



When all hope has been deserted,

And you've laid your dreams to rest,

When the world has left you hurting,

And you haven't passed the test,

You can run to me.



When the darkness has fallen around you,

And you're tired of being alone,

When you feel like life's monotonous,

And you're sick of the same old drone,

You can run to me.



When the deck is stacked against you,

And you've tried your best to be strong,

When you've failed and only become weaker,

And you don't think you can carry on,

You can run to me.



But when my life is hectic and confusing,

And it seems I won't make it through,

When my entire world is falling apart,

Tell me then...

Can I run to you?
