Love is like summer

Folder:
Depressed.

Love is like summer

It only lasts so long.

Eventually we all grow tired

Of hearing the same song.

At first it is warm and inviting

Trying to draw you in.

But then the cold breeze returns

Saying that winter shall begin.

Oh but while it lasts

It wraps you in an embrace

While the soulful wind sings

And carresses your face.

Then love is like spring

With its rain and flowers

And slowly wraps you up

With its holding powers.

And you smell it in the air

So sickeningly sweet.

Making you want to share it

With everything you meet.

But then love is like winter

Freezing your very soul

Quedtioning when you lost you

And all of your goals.

You want to get far away

But don't know how you can.

When you've spent your days worshipping

The love of this man.

You decide to break it of

With signals all can read.

Refusing to let him choke you

With love you don't even need.

But then that love becomes

Painful when either breathes.

And love is like Autumn.

With its falling leaves.

YeahYeah ah, doubt sucks. The only love I know to be real is unconditional, Universal love. Coupling love is confusing. And painful at times. Especially when doubt comes into play. I try to keep the faith.

Well, for some, love lasts a lifetime. Hope I end up with a love like that. And you too, for that matter. :)
