I saw her once or twice
He seemed to love someone
Truly, then something happened
And she cried until her eyes
Bled, I wonder what it was
Her life was independent,
Nothing else affected her,
But piled into a bottomless pit,
Ready to be emptied,
By time.
But as all things that
Are ignored they never do
Truly go away, instead they
Remain hidden we believe but
Always affecting our ever move
She waited for love to reach her soul,
Her mind, and her heart.
From spring to fall she stood strong,
Against the winds, making her empty.
Her dreams turning to dust.
But not all things shall become
Dust memories have a way of
Surviving the greatest of
Tragedies that happen to us all
They remain always in our hearts
By this, something happened.
Her dreams were true in one day,
She found what she had lost,
And loved every minute,
Not realizing, it wouldn't last forever.
Few things do last forever
Most pass without our knowing
Until we awake one day and its
All gone leaving us to ask
Where it has disappeared to
Tears flushed as love had gone.
No one knew how,
But they all prayed where,
Locking herself away from the world,
She cried, until falling silent.
It was at this time that he
Found her once again a ghost
From her past that had always
Been there to help her when
She needed it and always will be
Everything lasts forever,
As her love was for him,
Be patient and you will find me,
I'm waiting for you,
To come home...!
