'Humpty-dumpty sat on a wall'
watching the world
untouched, untouchable
perfectly sitting, silently watching.
'Humpty-dumpty had a great fall'
Too much for him, sitting up there all alone
too tired, of sitting, watching
tired of it all
he fell and shattered
and the truth,
the sad, terrible truth,
is that all the king's horses and all the kind's men
couldn't put Humpty together again.
Hi Ana...
Smilesz.
Cute poem there ...
a nice variation from the usual nursery rhyme.
I had also written an epic collection of five poems based on this. If u are free, pls visit my site and find those poems, generally entitled 'Egg Chronicles'.
Enjoy ~!~ hehe..
