2002 Where have I gone
What am I doing
My foundations have been uprooted
and my roots pulled out
I am scrambling to put them back in but the places where they were are no longer there.
Short, concise, and exactly expresses the feeling of having to move when someone doesn't want to. The same feeling when we had to move because our house was being foreclosed on, having to pack everything in boxes and having problems finding places for everything. 25 years worth of stuff. Having to move is very unsettling. This poem expressed it well.
