We go on together, living daily
Our hearts forever melding gaily
‘Till the day we both shall part
I did promise with all my heart
But something deadly wanders near
Something vile has shed your tears
Together forever, from the start
But now to lie forever apart
Goodbye my long lost child of youth
Goodbye to love, goodbye to truth
Goodbye… let us take our last dance
Goodbye… goodbye to our romance
The voracious hole can only be filled
Filled by yourself, and your own will
But you do not seek, so there you sit
You sink down further, the bottomless pit
Sway so freely, wind unwind
Take a knee, God to find
A part of me, longs to see
However even love to be free
