Car Windows

Folder:
Just a Poem

I looked in the other car windows. There were women,

Contemplating,

Thinking.

Touching their mouths,

Tapping their lips,

Thinking,

As the light stayed red.

I sat and thought in my car window, as a woman,

And tapped my lips,

Thinking,

About you.

What you said,

What you did,

And

How it felt,

A starring role in a love scene

Explicit

My Mind

A wonderful place, to be in

Today.

As I watch the other car windows, filled with women, contemplating

I said, I thought about you today.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I looked in the other car windows. There were women, contemplating, thinking, touching their mouths. Tapping their lips, thinking, as the light stayed red.  I sat and thought and tapped my lips, thinking, about you. What you said, what you did, and how it felt. My mind, a wonderful place to be in today.

I said,  I thought about you today.  But did I actually think about him?    I saw myself today in the starring role of  a love scene. Explicit.

As I watch the other car windows, filled with women contemplating. I thought about you .
